Job Title: Modality Sales Specialist - Enterprise Informatics

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team at Philips, a leading health technology company. As a Modality Sales Specialist - Enterprise Informatics, you will be responsible for identifying and creating growth in Healthcare IT revenue and market share in Iberia, with a focus on Spain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Sales Expertise: Provide technical and clinical expertise through sales presentations and product/solutions demonstrations to customers, showcasing our Enterprise Informatics solutions.
  2. Deal Identification and Development: Proactively work with sales activities towards new and existing customers, developing, qualifying, and closing profitable Healthcare IT deals.
  3. Customer Relationship Building: Identify new deals well in advance in the assigned territory of Spain, building relationships with key customer personnel and identifying potential competitors.
  4. Relationship Management: Establish or maintain relationships with current customers, ensuring their needs are met to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  5. Solution Formulation: Formulate solutions for customers by combining knowledge of Philips Solutions, expertise on hospital/clinic workflows, and customer needs to build winning proposals.
  6. Product and Solution Expertise: Inform and recommend customers on the latest technological innovations developed, including possible upgrades of the installed base, attending to complaints and inquiries made to achieve high customer satisfaction and contribute to sales targets.
  7. Market and Competitive Intelligence: Collate customer insights for new product introductions, competitive & market feedback.
  8. Event Participation: Participate in congresses, events, and team meetings in Spain & occasionally internationally.
  9. Funnel Management: Provide accurate and transparent funnel management as part of daily activity by using Philips Systems.
  10. Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate and transparent forecasts and explanations when required.
  11. Product and Solution Support: Be the knowledge expert on products/solutions, supporting Account Managers in driving overall business and product deal support by providing technical IT and workflow expertise on Enterprise Informatics Solutions across the accounts.
  12. Business Goal Achievement: Support the Account Managers and District Managers in the achievement of business goals.
  13. Configuration and Pricing: Provide the best solution configuration according to customer needs and following business policy, pricing strategy, etc., according to established guidelines.
  14. Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor competition and changes in the industry, providing effective feedback to the sales and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.

You're the Right Fit if You:

  1. Have previous experience in healthcare IT Sales/Business Development, with a successful sales background in software and services sales or within healthcare.
  2. Have previous healthcare experience within Radiology workflow, Cardiology, or hospital IT department, which is seen as a significant advantage.
  3. Possess good communication skills at different levels of customer's organization or roles.
  4. Can build strong relationships with customers, being perceived as the trusted consultant on Healthcare IT.
  5. Hold a University degree, preferably in Engineering or IT.
  6. Are eager to continuously learn and follow industry developments.
  7. Have a high level of business understanding and strong ability to understand the market and use that knowledge to professionally consult customers in all aspects and propose adequate product solutions.
  8. Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills to achieve company goals and ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  9. Are a strong team player with the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts.
  10. Are fluent in English and Spanish.
