**Job Summary**

Quantum Hydrogen S.L is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Director to lead our Commercial branch in shaping our commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing us as a market leader in the green hydrogen industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with our mission and vision, focusing on market penetration, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate risks.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand our presence and market reach.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing customer relationships.
  • Marketing and Branding: Develop and oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive demand for our green hydrogen products and services.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong and lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the commercial department. Ensure cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
  • Team Development: Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the commercial team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to the green hydrogen industry.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior commercial roles within the Chemistry or Hydrogen sector, having performed with methanol, ammonia, and/or hydrogen products.
  • Logistics-oriented background in the sector (e.g. Bunkering).
  • Experience working, negotiating, and generating business opportunities in Central Europe culture. Having worked for a German firm is preferred.
  • Strong network and relationships within the industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
  • Commitment to sustainability and a passion for driving the green energy transition.
