About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Accor. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily restaurant and bar operations, maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service, and working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and Head Chef to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team by example, keeping them involved and motivated, and helping them feel empowered and supported to provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and Head Chef to ensure front-of-house and back-of-house operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage daily restaurant and bar operations, including maintaining financial and administrative records.
- Organize the proper incorporation of new employees, including scheduling training.
- Create a positive team atmosphere among team members, provide feedback, and coach them regularly.
- Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements.
- Work with the R&B team to ensure proper food presentation and handling procedures.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform regular inspections of food and beverage preparation and presentation, and maintain inventory to enhance sales.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in a busy restaurant and/or bar operations role, with a keen eye for detail and good understanding of managing a team.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English, with additional languages highly valued.
- A track record of leading large teams in restaurants and bars, with a natural ability to inspire trust and bring others along on a journey.
- Not afraid of a fast-paced environment, juggling many tasks at once, but always keeping an eye on detail.
- Flexible to work on rotating shifts and weekends.
- A balance between a methodical and process-driven approach and flexibility and creativity when it comes to meeting deadlines and finding solutions.
