About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RAM Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the RAM activities, including RAM Plan, RAM report, product or system-level RAM prediction, RAM Monitoring plan and reports, and other deliverables described in the RAM Instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out RAM related activities in Projects & Programs in line with QCD objectives and look for optimization of RAM performance while being mindful of other constraints (such as life cycle cost, safety, standards, etc.).
  • Make Design recommendations based on RAM studies (Application of 'Design for Reliability' and 'Design for Maintainability' guidelines) and verify adequacy of architecture choices to System or Product RAM targets.
  • Specify and oversee RAM demonstration tests when required.
  • Validate field failure data collected by the Warranty team and issue 2-page RAM monitoring reports; supply them to the RAM RoX Leader of the CoE; supply necessary inputs to compute accurate RAM KPIs, etc.
Requirements
  • Desirable: Degree in Dependability (RAM).
  • RAM or RAMS function – Proficient profile with at least three years of experience in the field.
  • Railway signalling - Proficient profile with at least 5 years of experience in the railway industry.
  • Good bases in probability & statistics.
  • Basic knowledge of data science methods & tools (data mining, machine learning, etc) would be a plus.
