About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Cabling Engineer to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our Plant Engineering and IAG team, you will be responsible for technical issues in the interdisciplinary sub-project "inner-park cabling".
Key Responsibilities
- Tendering for cables, conducting contract negotiations, and managing the cable supply contract after signing
- Supporting the team in issues related to approval, cable design, cable installation, and system electrics
- Ensuring frequent communication and exchange of experience with the line organization and other areas involved
- Coordinating with other sub-projects and project teams, including occasional participation in "troubleshooting"
- Working on research and industry-related projects
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or comparable qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, with a focus on inner-park cabling of offshore wind farms
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally
- Entrepreneurial spirit, good communication skills, influential capabilities, and a strong team player
