About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Battery Systems Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of battery packs, designing and integrating E/E architectures, and generating DVPs for battery pack validation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement battery pack designs, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Design and integrate E/E architectures, focusing on intersystem communications and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Generate detailed validation plans (DVPs) for battery pack validation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis of battery packs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on development and testing activities, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Your Profile:

We are looking for engineers with varying levels of experience:

  • Junior Level: Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with no prior experience required.
  • Specialist Level: Minimum 2 years of experience in battery development, with expertise in areas such as battery pack design, E/E architecture, and BMS.
  • Senior Level: Minimum 4 years of experience in battery development, with a strong background in areas such as thermal management, internal high-voltage cabling, and busbar design.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is mandatory, with knowledge of French desirable.
  • Availability to travel frequently (20% time) to clients' facilities.
