**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to lead our Urban Projects in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for piloting the technical aspects of the project or tender, working closely with teams across the business, and representing the project technically both internally and with customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring that all technical aspects are aligned with the customer's requirements.
  • Be accountable for the customer's acceptance of the project solution, ensuring that it meets their needs and expectations.
  • Manage project technical risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the project's success.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to manage contractual scope evolution, raise variation orders, and manage them effectively.
  • Validate technical design choices with peers and the Solution Director to ensure that they are aligned with the project's goals and objectives.
  • Identify applicable regulations in the customer's country or city and ensure that they are taken into account in project solution design.
  • Manage the project solution, including customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
  • Build and analyze the project requirements database (PRD) with the Project Architect and allocate requirements to System Program Manager (SPM), Project Industrialization Manager (PrIDM), and the Project Engineering team.
  • Act as the chairman of the Project Change Control Board (CCB) and be responsible for the project design and application engineering activities.
  • Supervise Verification & Validation activities and be accountable for Engineering WP QCD.
  • Provide Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure that the project solution is fully validated.
  • Functionally lead the project engineering team, verify the Project Safety Case, and manage the interface with the project core team.

**Requirements**

  • Engineer profile is a must.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in Urban systems.
  • Previous project management experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
  • Previous rail industry experience is preferred.
