**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to lead our Urban Projects in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for piloting the technical aspects of the project or tender, working closely with teams across the business, and representing the project technically to both internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring customer acceptance of the project solution.
  • Be accountable for project technical risks and mitigation plans.
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage contractual scope evolution, raise variation orders, and manage them.
  • Validate technical design choices with peers and Solution Director.
  • Identify applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensure they are incorporated into project solution design.
  • Manage project solution customization and parameterization to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
  • Build and analyze the project requirements database (PRD) with the Project Architect and allocate requirements to System Program Manager (SPM), Project Industrialization Manager (PrIDM), and Project Engineering team.
  • Chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB).
  • Be responsible for project design and application engineering activities.
  • Supervise Verification & Validation activities.
  • Be accountable for Engineering WP QCD.
  • Provide BOM.
  • Verify Project Safety Case.
  • Manage interface with project core team.

**Requirements**

  • Engineer profile is a must.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in Urban systems.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Previous rail industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge on Engineering tasks to be performed.
