We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to lead our Urban Projects team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring customer acceptance and satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, working closely with the project team to develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage contractual scope evolution, variation orders, and changes to the project scope.
- Validate technical design choices with peers and Solution Directors, ensuring they align with customer requirements and industry regulations.
- Manage the project solution, including customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
- Build and analyze the project requirements database (PRD) with the Project Architect, allocating requirements to System Program Manager (SPM), Project Industrialization Manager (PrIDM), and the Project Engineering team.
- Chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring effective change management and control.
- Supervise Verification & Validation activities, ensuring the project solution meets the required standards.
- Be accountable for Engineering WP QCD, providing BOM, and ensuring the project solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Verify Project Safety Case, ensuring the project solution meets all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Manage the interface with the project core team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

- 3-5 years of experience in Urban systems.
- Previous project management experience, preferably in the rail industry.
- Knowledge of engineering tasks and processes.
