About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to lead our Urban Metro projects in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the project, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring customer acceptance and satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop a corresponding mitigation plan.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to manage contractual scope evolution, variation orders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Validate technical design choices with peers and Solution Director.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in the customer country/city.
  • Manage the project solution, including customization and parameterization to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
  • Build and analyze the project requirements database (PRD) and allocate requirements to System Program Manager (SPM), Project Industrialization Manager (PrIDM), and to Project Engineering team.
  • Chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB) and be responsible for the project design and application engineering activities.
  • Supervise Verification & Validation activities and be accountable for Engineering WP QCD.
  • Provide Bill of Materials (BOM) and lead the project engineering team.
Requirements
  • Engineer profile is a must.
  • 3-5 years previous experience in METRO systems.
  • Previous experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Previous rail industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge on Engineering tasks to be performed.
  • Fluent in French is desirable.
