About the Role

ECB is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our client team, a leading international company in the Energy sector. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded firmware for various platforms, including processors, DSPs, and microcontrollers, for industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop firmware solutions for industrial applications, including specification, design, implementation, testing, and industrialization.
  • Develop and conduct necessary tests for validation and qualification of systems, and support production in testbench development.
  • Participate in the development of new features and products, from feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts to release to manufacturing.
  • Maintain the existing firmware architecture throughout the product life cycle.
  • Perform design reviews, root cause analyses, and implement best practices.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal departments.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in electronic firmware design development.
  • Experience in developing firmware applications for data acquisition, digital signal processing, and real-time measurements.
  • Experience with several mainstream processors and DSP design platforms.
  • Experience working with System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, particularly Xilinx's Zynq family chips.
  • Hands-on experience in embedded code development using C++.
  • Experience with signal processing algorithms and design methodologies.
  • Experience with common communication interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
