About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Returns Manager to join our team at Amazon Extra Large (AMXL). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analysing data and gathering feedback from stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in current operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in current operations
  • Establish frameworks to ensure that the balance between quality, speed, cost and other factors are optimised
  • Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved
  • Regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements

A Day in the Life

As a Returns Manager, you will be part of a team driving major projects to standardise our processes and make improvements to our operations. You will be in regular contact with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders to define project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts.

You will also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with the new processes you implement.

About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We deliver large items, unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe.

Requirements

  • A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or a technical field
  • Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
  • Relevant experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects
  • Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement
  • Experience in analytical tool building
