As a Returns Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Amazon's returns process. You will be responsible for analysing data and gathering feedback from stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in current operations. You will establish frameworks to ensure that the balance between quality, speed, cost, and other factors are optimised. You will share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved. You will also be responsible for regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements.
About the Role:
As a Returns Manager, you will be the expert in charge of spotting problems, seeing gaps and inefficiencies, and creating solutions. You will deep dive into data to find challenges and keep track of the effectiveness of your improvements. You will work closely with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders to define project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts. You will also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with the new processes you implement.
About the Team:
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We deliver large items, unpack, assemble, and install them, and take away old items where needed. We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. We are a team of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
Requirements:
A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field. Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management, or management consulting role. Relevant experience in project management or management consulting, including handling multiple ongoing projects.
