Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Controller to join our Finance team. As a Senior Business Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting key management decisions by translating business topics into financials and challenging them.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis
Prepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive management.
Business PartnershipWork closely with the finance and business management teams to support key decisions and drive business growth.
Risk ManagementManage risks and opportunities together with the business based on financials and business discussions.
Budgeting and ForecastingOwn the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope.
Financial ReportingStory-build actuals and challenge the financials in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scope.
Process ImprovementInitiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
Global InitiativesParticipate in local and global initiatives, which may require occasional travel.
Requirements
- Education
Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similar.
Experience5 years of relevant working experience within finance; controlling experience is a must.
SkillsPro-active, with a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to plan effectively and comfortable taking critical decisions. Affinity with both business and finance. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of the French language would be a plus.
ToolsExperienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI is a plus.
