About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our TUI Finance Global Business Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and improving the General Ledger (GL) and Banking/Treasury end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior technical support to GL, Accounting, Banking, and Treasury supervisors according to Accounting Standards.
  • Secure proper approvals for necessary accounting entries, ensuring that all GL and bank accounts are properly reconciled by GL staff during monthly and year-end close process in SAP.
  • Assure successful implementation of harmonised processes, evaluating end-to-end performance and continuously benchmarking internal processes against best practices.
  • Implement and monitor the internal control framework within all TGBS areas, including COSO controls (Controlled Operations Successful Outcomes) in order to achieve internal group compliance.
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow distribution among team staff to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Robust and up-to-date knowledge of Accounting standards: IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and at least Spanish GAAP.
  • Previous experience in a Shared Service Centre environment and in-depth knowledge of Finance back office processes and procedures.
  • Excellent English and local language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability in identifying and implementing process improvements and process re-engineering skills.
