Job Summary

Deimos Space is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our AIT Competence Centre, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects from initial concept definition through on-orbit operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support Deimos Space on current and upcoming projects regarding AIT activities for space systems and satellite platforms.
  • Define AIT plans, procedures, and reports, and support requirement verification.
  • Contribute to on-orbit operations, analysis, and simulations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Office (PMO) and other company areas on AIT planning.

Requirements

  • Aerospace Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Electronics Engineer degree.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
  • Proficiency in functional, EMC, TVAC, and mechanical testing.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems.
  • Ability to perform well-structured analysis, troubleshooting, and recovery actions for space HW malfunctions.
  • Experience with GSE specification, design, and implementation.
  • Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues.
  • Knowledge of New Space approach and techniques.
  • Experience with low-level integration and testing techniques.
  • Experience with space HW handling and clean room activities.
  • Experience with writing technical and project implementation documentation.
  • Experience with LEOP and commissioning flight operations.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
  • Technical writing skills, knowledge of ECCS or other space-related standards.

Language Skills

English (B2 level as minimum)
