Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Autograph Collection in Querencia de Sevilla. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, marking items for placement, and delivering merchandise to the appropriate department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Mark items for placement and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels, ensuring prompt action to prevent stockouts
  • Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, maintaining high standards of quality control
  • Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
  • Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, and place in proper storage areas, ensuring a clutter-free and organized workspace
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, completing safety training and certifications as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
