Industry Marketing Director for Life Sciences & Healthcare

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our industry marketing efforts for Life Sciences & Healthcare. As an Industry Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives awareness and preference for Clarivate's brand within the global industry segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and marketing plans to build awareness and preference for Clarivate's brand within the LS&H industry segment
  • Identify and target opportunities within the LS&H segment around the world
  • Develop positioning and content that aligns Clarivate's product and consulting capabilities to address the needs of the LS&H sector
  • Support sales and the broader marketing organization with compelling segment-specific enablement, messaging, and assets
Requirements:
  • At least 12 years of product marketing or related experience
  • 3 years minimum experience in the Life Sciences & Healthcare market is preferred; global experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred (MBA, Marketing, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong organization, project management, and prioritization capabilities
  • Ability to influence peers and counterparts in cross-functional teams
What You'll Be Doing:

You will be working closely with marketing and brand teams to create comprehensive and measurable marketing plans for Life Sciences & Healthcare, ensuring alignment with the go-to-market strategy. You will also be collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external research firms to gain deep insights into user and buyer behavior, and translating these insights into effective marketing strategies and deliverables.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining market narratives that highlight how Clarivate's products and services meet buyer needs and align with industry trends. You will also be working with partners across strategy and the commercial organization to identify whitespace and cross-sell opportunities, supporting Clarivate's growth.

You will be equipping sales teams with effective tools and training specific to the industry segment, facilitating the generation of new business. You will also be overseeing content marketing strategy and development, creating key content assets in line with the marketing funnel, and continuously improving content delivery based on performance metrics.

You will be overseeing website content management, analyzing web metrics, and optimizing content for increased demand generation and customer engagement.
