Job Overview

The Vice President of Technical Search Optimization will oversee the implementation of SEO strategies across a diverse range of buyer brands, encompassing various content and media formats, along with a global network of websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute technical SEO initiatives aimed at enhancing traffic to client websites through on-page tactics such as title and meta-tag optimization, indexing, keyword positioning, and overall site architecture, as well as off-page strategies like link building and backlink profile management to enhance visibility and establish credibility for our content.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and execute Technical SEO enhancements.
  • Continuously monitor and assess site performance, analyzing tracking metrics to drive improvements and propose solutions for elevating search engine rankings.
  • Investigate and analyze emerging traffic trends, identifying new optimization avenues and evaluating search outcomes related to websites or marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct assessments of program effectiveness, utilizing insights for market site enhancements and optimizing all initiatives.
  • Formulate an SEO testing strategy, which includes evaluating SEO testing tools and integrating them with traditional A/B testing methodologies.
  • Lead a globally distributed team, primarily based in various locations, focusing on recruiting and nurturing top talent while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, with a proven track record in technical SEO and data-driven strategy development.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, BrightEdge, DeepCrawl, and Majestic.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in International SEO.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to collaborate effectively and drive solutions with technical teams.
  • Extensive background in strategy formulation, business planning, and execution.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise value propositions and core messages to enhance revenue and market visibility.
  • Comprehensive understanding of competitive landscapes and the ability to develop and maintain marketing strategies targeting specific markets.
  • Expertise in crafting and executing strategic communication plans for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities; adept at articulating a clear vision and implementing effective operational strategies.
  • Proven ability to conduct quantitative business analysis and develop coherent business strategies.
