Our Team
Our Maritime Transportation and Visibility unit supports BASF's shared service organization and operating divisions. We enable efficient transportation management operations, including liner shipment, air transportation, and shipment tracking & tracing. Our product team is responsible for consulting, designing, delivering, and running state-of-the-art digital solutions in SAP-based and cloud-based technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand business requirements and create user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work with the BASF team and contractors to define and implement development tasks using modern SAP development technologies, such as ABAP OO and BOPF.
- Deploy and test implemented solutions, present and explain work results, support validation testing, and conduct user training.
- Conduct research, design, prototyping, and other exploration activities.
- Live and support agile methodology, including process, meetings, and tools.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant business or IT field, with at least 5 years of experience in an SAP (technical) consulting role.
- High-level technical expertise in ABAP, ABAP OO, BOPF, FPM, FIORI, and CDS Views, as well as technical consulting experience in SAP S/4 Transportation Management.
- Passion for entrepreneurship, empathy, perseverance, result-oriented work, and commitment.
- Collaboration skills, including teamwork, reliability, communication skills in English, problem-solving skills, and conflict-solving skills.
- Learning ability, including a growth mindset, adaptability, flexibility, and interest.
