About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Content Manager to join our Knowledge & Learning Excellence Team at Roche. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and managing technical content across various product lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Management: Own all technical content during the product's lifecycle, accountable for end-to-end content creation, assisting in defining content elements, and planning for specific projects.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, manage vendor relationships, and closely monitor projects if content is created externally.
- Content Strategy and Planning: Define and plan the content scope and delivery, determine channels for assigned products according to the content strategy, and ensure stakeholder management.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships within GCS, ensure input to risk assessments are completed, and coordinate with applicable development teams and planning for content delivery.
- Agile Development Coordination: Ensure the content creator can work in multiple iterations during Agile development, coordinate and complete publication activities.
Other Responsibilities
- Standardization and Best Practices: Discuss and advise on standardization and best practices associated with content delivery and content management.
- Project Timelines: Responsible for meeting project timelines agreed with the PPE/project team.
- Content Management System: Define reviewers and approvers, ensuring accessibility and required training is completed within the content management system.
- GCS Documents: Ensure input into relevant GCS documents, such as milestone documents, in coordination with PPE.
- Terminology and Translation Expertise: Act as a terminology and translation expert to a maximum of 30% work capacity to support the SubChapter Language Operations.
Requirements
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong skills in organization, planning, prioritization, and management of stakeholders and their expectations.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management Experience: Experience with project management as well as cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of Tools and Processes: Good knowledge of translation, localization, and project management tools, as well as hardware and software development processes, content creation, and content management processes, systems, and workflows.
