Environmental Specialist Job Description

At EDP Energias de Portugal, we are committed to excellence in renewable energy production and environmental stewardship. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct environmental feasibility studies to ensure compliance with national and European regulations.
  • Support the development team in preparing environmental authorizations and implementing environmental measures.
  • Review and audit contractor environmental documentation to ensure compliance with permits and environmental obligations.
  • Audit project sites and contractors to identify and address non-compliance issues.
Requirements:
  • Graduate or Master's degree in Environmental Science and/or Biology/Ecology.
  • 2-3 years of experience in wind or solar project development.
  • Knowledge of national and European environmental legislation and Environmental Impact Assessment.
  • Fluent in German and English.
