Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Spend Specialist to join our team in Catalonia, Spain. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing complex assignments related to indirect spend, focusing on areas such as tooling, office consumables, and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of digital marketplaces and catalogs for operational workers
  • Handle indirect spend for various categories, including tooling, office consumables, and training
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, understanding their needs and pain points, and providing solutions
  • Lead procurement phases and strategy development, ensuring smooth communication between internal and external partners
  • Drive global cost optimization through innovation, negotiations, cost driver identification, and process improvements
  • Optimize the supplier base by maintaining relationships with preferred suppliers, sourcing new ones, and managing Total Cost of Ownership
  • Lead the procurement process through to contract signature, supporting the Tactical Purchasing team with Purchase Order creation, and managing contracts

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in an indirect spend or purchasing environment, managing related categories
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English (essential), with German as a significant plus
  • Effective negotiation skills and cross-functional cooperation ability
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and project management experience
  • Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed
