About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment to ensure it runs at top operating efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting in customer facilities
  • Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports
  • Create solutions to new technical problems and develop suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Support installations when needed
  • Coordinate technical communication flow inside JBT organization
  • Participate in creating and applying working procedures for service department tasks
  • Inform of potential improvements and progress
  • Train service personnel on customer equipment
  • Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales force
  • Follow up on jobs and services provided to customers
  • Assist sales departments by providing technical information and customer assistance

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience from a similar role or tasks working with equipment as Service/Installation Engineer in Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or as Maintenance Technician within the Process industry
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to travel and work flexible hours as the job may require, including weekends
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office is valued
  • Valid driving license
