The Opportunity: As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment to ensure it operates at peak efficiency. Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  1. Conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance in customer facilities.
  2. Providing accurate and detailed service visit reports.
  3. Developing solutions to new technical problems and suggesting improvements.
  4. Supporting installations and coordinating technical communication within the JBT organization.
  5. Participating in creating and applying working procedures for service department tasks.
  6. Informing potential improvements and progress.
  7. Training service personnel on customer equipment.
  8. Responding to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales teams.
  9. Following up on jobs and services provided to customers.
  10. Assisting sales departments with technical information and customer support.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years' experience in a similar role or tasks working with equipment as a Service/Installation Engineer in the Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or as a Maintenance Technician in the Process industry.
  2. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  3. Able to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  4. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  5. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  6. Experience in using Microsoft Office is valued.
  7. Valid driving license.
