About the Role

DNV Germany Holding GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior PV Module Expert to join our Solar Team in the SEMELA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing technically complex projects related to PV module technology, bankability studies, and failure investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of technically complex projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance support for PV module technology reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Technical Review: Initiate and coordinate technical review processes among internal specialists, ensuring accurate and comprehensive results.
  • Supply Chain Management: Review module supply agreements, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing for PV modules in Independent Power Producers/Owners' Engineering/Technical Due Diligence projects.
  • Tool Development: Develop and innovate in-house tools and global capabilities for technology review as part of due diligence processes.
  • Energy Assessment: Support internal energy assessment teams for PV module technology-related benchmarking, updating, and explanation for loss considerations such as LID, degradation, PAN file, etc.
  • Measurements Support: Support internal measurements teams in their PV module measurements service development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Business Development: Support and develop win proposals for scopes of services related to PV module bankability studies, PV module failure investigations, and similar scopes for other critical solar PV technologies.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in PV module technology. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience working in the solar industry with 4+ years in PV module technology design/manufacturing/QAP, etc.
  • Familiarity with solar PV industry technology (modules, inverters, mounting systems, balance of system, etc.).
  • Project management and ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented thinking skills – identifying technical risks and formulating solutions.
  • Fluent in MS Office products.
  • Written and spoken English on at least C1. Spanish would be a plus.
