Job Summary

We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professional to drive our data strategy and innovation efforts forward. As a Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the enterprise data and AI strategy to align with business priorities and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior customers and subject matter experts to develop data and analytics strategies for different Siemens Energy business units and group functions.
  • Collaborate with the corporate strategy and innovation team and associated teams across the business to translate business needs into requirements of the data and analytics strategy.
  • Create and evaluate data-driven initiatives in our core business, and develop and evaluate ideas in collaboration with our customers and internal partners.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators / metrics to reflect progress in our data and analytics strategy.
  • Document and present strategy and roadmap to senior team members.
  • Effective project and portfolio delivery management and decision support, including development of appropriate reports and reporting cadence to governance boards, the leadership team, project managers, and business owners.
  • Thought leadership and support the Chief Data Officer's leadership team in providing consistent delivery and portfolio governance across the Data & Advanced Analytics organization.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in one of the following fields: Computer science, mathematics, engineering, Information Technology or a quantitative field.
  • 3+ years experience of leading a small team and a proven track record of leading successful teams and mentoring talent.
