About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our product infrastructure, maintaining its resilience, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
- Alert Management: You will be responsible for managing alerts and addressing them within the confines of our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Server Administration: You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing servers, maintaining their health and performance.
- Security Enforcement: You will be responsible for proactively applying patches and safeguarding our infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
- Efficiency Optimization: You will be responsible for fine-tuning our IT landscape to ensure optimal performance and security.
Requirements
- Linux and Windows Mastery: You should have expertise in both Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows Server (2019 and beyond).
- Automation Excellence: You should be proficient in tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Advanced Networking: You should have experience in configuring and optimizing network infrastructure.
- Scripting Creator: You should be skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Network Service Management: You should have experience in managing services such as DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPN, SNMP, Postfix, Apache, and HAProxy.
- Orchestration and Containers: You should have experience in orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
- Virtualization Expertise: You should have experience in virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware.
- Hyperconvergence Knowledge: You should have experience in hyperconvergence platforms such as Nutanix, vSAN, VxRail, Ceph, and GlusterFS.
- Experience and Tenacity: You should have over 5 years of experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support resolution.
- Frameworks and Standards: You should be familiar with industry best practices such as ITIL and ISO 27K.
- Collaborative Mindset: You should be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Fortitude: You should be able to analyze complex problems and arrive at effective solutions.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in French would be a significant plus.
