Job Title: Chassis Design Engineer

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly skilled Chassis Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Chassis Systems Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing chassis systems for various vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design ownership of chassis systems, ensuring optimal packaging and component integration.
  • Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for chassis systems.
  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of chassis components.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications for chassis components.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Previous experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 component design.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 2D/3D design software.
  • Knowledge of CAE and simulation tools, such as ADAMS and Patran/Nastran.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
