Your responsibilities will include promoting the brand's image both internally and externally. You will employ effective sales strategies to enhance revenue while ensuring guest loyalty to the Marriott Vacation Club. Identify opportunities to upsell and provide enhancements that enrich the Marriott Vacation Club experience. Engage with guests or callers to encourage the purchase or scheduling of preview package sales/tours. Clearly communicate the details and requirements for attending a sales presentation to prospective owners. Ensure that individuals meet the eligibility criteria for preview package sales/tours before arranging a tour for a Marriott vacation club property. Offer premiums to guests as tokens of appreciation for their patronage, such as rewards points or vouchers. Address guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services with clarity and professionalism.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance; safeguard confidential information; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address their service needs; and express genuine gratitude to guests. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents thoroughly; and utilize telephone and email with proper etiquette. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives; and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Ensure compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards. Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; and be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Execute other reasonable job duties as directed by supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Tour Generation

Focused on generating new tours through the Encore program. Oversee the Encore post-sales process. Present the Encore program comprehensively to potential clients. Complete purchase forms and obtain credit card authorization from customers. Ensure customers depart with a positive impression of their experience. Conduct necessary follow-ups. Maintain proficiency in computer systems such as Goldmine, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Policies and Procedures

Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures. Safeguard the privacy and security of colleagues. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information. Ensure nametags and personal appearance comply with company standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Guest Relations

Welcome and acknowledge each guest warmly, using their name when possible. Actively listen and respond positively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests. Thank guests sincerely and provide a warm farewell. Address guests' service needs in a timely and professional manner.

Communication

Communicate with guests and colleagues using clear and professional language. Engage with other employees to effectively exchange information.

Physical Tasks

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Sales

Promote awareness of the brand image internally and externally. Utilize sales techniques that maximize revenue while fostering guest loyalty to the Marriott Vacation Club.

Collaboration

Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments. Collaborate with others to foster teamwork and achieve common goals. Support all coworkers and treat them with respect and dignity. Handle sensitive employee issues with tact and confidentiality.

Quality Assurance

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Organization

Manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience

At least one year of relevant work experience.

Supervisory Experience

No supervisory experience is required.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in English, German, and Spanish is preferred.
