Position Summary: We are seeking a Director of Operational Strategy to become a vital member of our Operational Strategy Department. This role is essential in shaping and executing operational strategies for RFPs and bid defenses, while also supporting operational teams during these critical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic operational insights, including text and budget assessments for proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, operational, and business development personnel.
  • Formulate and enhance strategies for prospective opportunities, focusing on operational factors such as enrollment, feasibility, and timelines.
  • Draft and refine proposal content to clearly articulate operational strategies.
  • Ensure that proposals are comprehensive, reflecting strong strategic, operational, and clinical development planning.
  • Develop and finalize study budgets in collaboration with relevant leadership.
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Clinical Trial Management to ensure smooth transitions of operational strategies during bid defenses.
  • Mentor and train colleagues in operational strategy and budgeting for clinical research.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings and presentations.
  • Provide insights on feasibility and competitive landscapes to support bid defense meetings.
  • Innovate solutions in partnership with medical and scientific teams, offering consulting services as needed.
  • Engage in pre-award collaborations to enhance Precision's impact through innovative strategies.
  • Attend industry events and contribute to scientific publications.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required: Degree in Life Sciences

Preferred: Advanced Medical Degree or PhD

Experience:

  • 12+ years in the CRO/Pharmaceutical sector or equivalent experience, including CRO exposure.
  • Proven experience in operational strategy analysis and budget evaluations.
  • Experience in Hematology/Oncology, Rare Diseases, or CNS is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in developing and reviewing study budgets aligned with delivery strategies.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office and web/data-based platforms.
