Internship Overview

The SAP Internship Experience Program is a global, strategic, and compensated internship initiative designed for university students seeking to find meaning in their professional journeys.

Team Dynamics

As part of the Midmarket Team, you will contribute to one of SAP's rapidly expanding sectors, particularly in the Cloud domain. Our mission is to enhance SAP's market presence in the Midmarket segment, with the Sales Team focused on securing agreements and fostering enduring customer relationships. The team is cohesive and supportive, yet the work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a high degree of independence.

Your Responsibilities

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Mid-Market Sales Team
Location: Remote

As an intern within the Mid-Market Sales Team at SAP, you will gain invaluable business insights and understand the complete sales process, from initial lead generation to finalizing deals.

Your daily responsibilities will primarily include:

  • Identifying potential new customers through various sources.
  • Conducting account profiling to connect with key decision-makers.
  • Performing market analysis to identify trends and opportunities that will assist the team in engaging prospective clients.

Additionally, you will support the team in social selling initiatives on platforms like LinkedIn, which involves curating and sharing relevant content. You will also assist with various tasks as needed.

Learning Opportunities

The most significant aspect of this internship is the opportunity to learn about the entire sales cycle, which includes:

  • Participating in introductory calls with potential clients.
  • Attending weekly meetings to review key deals in the pipeline.
  • Observing the comprehensive process involved in securing customer agreements.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who are proactive, resilient, and curious. You should be eager to work on impactful projects and committed to continuous learning.

  • Ideally, you are nearing the completion of your degree, whether at the bachelor's or master's level.
  • Your university must be able to establish a tri-party agreement.
  • Your academic background should be aligned with commercial disciplines such as Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or IT.
  • You are prepared to engage in a full-time internship.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • You possess a collaborative spirit and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Active listening skills are crucial for understanding assignments and achieving expected outcomes.
