The Role

As an Intern in our Employment Law, Privacy, Ethics & Compliance team, you'll support our global team in coordinating compliance & advisory related queries, identifying best practices, defining standards, processes, policies, and legal documents. You'll also assist in the roll-out and creation of our global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the employment legal team at a global level.
  • Conduct legal research on cases and trends, tracking and analyzing legal updates at a global level and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Support efforts to comply with various countries' laws regarding labor and employment.
  • Prepare training materials and assist in the development of internal company policies and processes.
  • Build out systems and processes to help our legal team work best with each other and with the People & Culture team.
  • Ensure complete documentation to proof accountability.
Requirements
  • Student of Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic knowledge of international law, labor, and employment, human resources issues; keen interest in learning about other compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills; confidence in interacting with different types of stakeholders.
  • Think analytically, love to work in a structured manner, and possess a quick perception; ability to work independently and manage multiple activities at once.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written (any additional language is a plus, especially Spanish and German).
