We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Marriott International. This is a full-time position that will report to the ADOF Europe team and will be responsible for supporting the location hotel finance team on finance operations and assisting with task force assignments across Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees.
- Provide financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing the return on investment.
- Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, corporate, and guests.
- Ensure compliance with management contract and reporting requirements.
- Manage and conduct human resource activities, including performance reviews, talent development, and employee relations.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
- Fluent in English and Spanish or Italian or French.
- Experience in hotel industry as DOF.
- Flexibility to travel (90% of the time).
- Positive attitude and easy to connect with the team.
- Professional certifications in finance and accounting.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Knowledge of financial software and systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
