Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Operations Manager at Colt Technology Services, you will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, controlling, and overseeing supply chain activities. You will manage and lead the Supply Chain and Logistics teams, ensuring the effective execution of the supply chain strategy and the efficient management of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for effective warehousing, logistics, and control tower operations that ensure accurate stock control and fulfillment to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manages logistics services sourcing activities and manages operational and financial relationships with logistics third-party providers.
  • Optimizes storage and transport of inventory across Colt, including non-European locations.
  • Develops operational inventory management models with logistics third-party providers and local operational teams to support efficient equipment delivery.
  • Manages the operational delivery of inventory into the Investment Recovery Process for revenue partners (for the sale of recovered equipment not being reused).
  • Ensures accurate accounting and control processes are maintained and audited regularly.
  • Establishes and manages key stakeholder and supplier relationships, both externally and internally.
  • Liaises with all stakeholders to ensure operational supply chain elements are communicated and managed.
  • Monitors and reports on logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving action to correct issues arising.
  • Ensures processes and tools are continually optimized and documented.
  • Manages through own staff, local or third-party support, set-down area stock accuracy.
  • Ensures field partners that carry out logistics services comply with supply chain processes and procedures.
  • Provides supply chain ERP system requirements and contributes towards user testing and is accountable for implementation within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain and/or a field service operational environment.
  • Ability to manage a team across multiple countries and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to negotiate at a senior management level with suppliers and Colt peers.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High personal standards in terms of integrity/trust.
  • Self-motivated with inner drive and determination.
  • Flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Strong team player, good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels.
  • Leadership with good communication to set clear direction and influencing skills to drive team members to achieve objectives/goals.
