You will be accountable for effective warehousing, logistics, and control tower operations that ensure accurate stock control and fulfillment to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Additionally, you will manage logistics services sourcing activities and manage operational and financial relationships with logistics third-party providers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain and/or field service operational environment, with excellent analytical skills, high personal standards, and a self-motivated attitude. You will be able to negotiate at a senior management level with suppliers and Colt peers, and possess strong leadership and communication skills to drive team members to achieve objectives and goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for effective warehousing, logistics, and control tower operations that ensure accurate stock control and fulfillment to agreed SLAs.
- Manages logistics services sourcing activities and manages operational and financial relationships with logistics third-party providers.
- Optimizes storage and transport of inventory across Colt, including non-European locations.
- Develops operational inventory management models with logistics third-party providers and local operational teams to support efficient equipment delivery.
- Manages the operational delivery of inventory into the Investment Recovery Process for revenue partners.
- Ensures accurate accounting and control processes are maintained and audited regularly.
- Establishes and manages key stakeholder and supplier relationships, both externally and internally.
- Liaises with all stakeholders to ensure operational supply chain elements are communicated and managed.
- Monitors and reports on logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving action to correct issues arising.
- Ensures processes and tools are continually optimized and documented.
- Manages through own staff, local or 3PL support, set down area stock accuracy.
- Ensures field partners that carry out logistics services comply with supply chain processes and procedures.
- Provides supply chain ERP system requirements and contributes towards user testing and is accountable for implementation within the team.
