The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Global Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our Puig team. This highly skilled professional will have significant experience in supply chain management, preferably within a multinational company. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in global distribution costs, inventory levels, DIO, and DSO performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead the analysis of financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for cost savings initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency and full visibility of costs and financial impact of decisions made by the supply chain.
- Challenge assumptions and seek opportunities for cost improvements in the supply chain.
- Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to drive process improvements and best practices.
- Participate in supply chain projects on costs and working capital and process improvement projects.
- Liaise with Demand and Supply Planning to ensure consistency between S&OP and Financial Data.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within a multinational company.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Solid experience working with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
- Fluent English and computer skills (MS Office).
- Competencies: motivating others, drive for results, team player, perspective.
