The Contract Manager role is a key position within the Iberia Cluster, responsible for providing guidance and support to various functions on contract-related matters. This includes advising on contract negotiations, reviewing agreements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review contracts, including clinical trial agreements, commercial agreements, and vendor and supplier agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless contract management processes.
- Develop and implement contract templates and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Liaise with the Legal Corporate function to ensure contract local needs analysis, template creation, and approval.
- Manage contracts and addendums database, ensuring up-to-date information.
- Communicate with vendors and service providers to resolve contract issues.
- Act as a first point of contact for contract inquiries and provide guidance on contract and addendum matters.
- Monitor and follow up on framework agreements, including renewal, extension, and close-out.
- Develop and deliver training programs on contract management for managers and employees.
- Degree in Law.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; preferred fluent in Portuguese.
- 6+ years of experience as an attorney (law firm or in-house).
- Strong experience in Contracts.
- International experience a plus.
- Experience/knowledge in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Life Science sector and/or regulated environments/compliance related to FCPA.
- Organizational skills and management of different teams.
- Results-oriented, with a high level of autonomy.
