Role Overview

Formulate and recommend strategies for analysis activities. Organize analysis initiatives. Identify how technology can support business goals, develop strategies, conduct feasibility assessments, create both high-level and detailed business models, prepare business cases, and oversee the development and implementation of solutions, while considering the impact of changes on the organization and all stakeholders. Provide mentorship and direction to Junior Requirements Analysts. Ensure the integrity and consistency of the Requirements Package, accounting for all dependencies within and outside the project. Conduct requirements elicitation and gathering, extracting clear and actionable requirements from unstructured data. Organize, trace, prioritize, specify, and model requirements effectively. Draft IT software requirements, assembling comprehensive requirements packages. Validate and verify requirement packages with relevant stakeholders. Maintain current requirements and system documentation. Advocate for requirements reuse. Evaluate Requests for Change (RfC). Analyze IT systems and solution constraints, recommending actions to enhance the value of solutions. Participate in internal workshops and/or European networks to analyze, discuss, and propose enhancements to process and system quality under the Office's guidance. Design and produce high-quality, visually appealing presentations, project documentation, and reports in English. Facilitate and support User Acceptance Tests (UATs). Develop Business Test Scenarios for stakeholder use during UATs. Provide training to support implementation (if necessary). Communicate the implications of changes to stakeholders. Assist the Office's teams in other areas/activities/tasks (e.g., architecture, development, quality assurance, and control). Contribute to defining quality standards in functional documentation. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to lead the definition and enhancement of standards and best practices in requirements analysis. Coordinate Business Analysis services and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications

At least 7 years of full-time professional experience in IT roles, with a minimum of 4 years focused on requirements analysis. Demonstrated experience as an analyst of IT systems: analyzing, eliciting, gathering, and drafting clear and actionable requirements, utilizing use cases, business process modeling, or data modeling. Experience in requirements analysis and Business Process Modeling (BPM). Practical experience with requirements management tools. Strong analytical thinking; problem-solving and critical mindset. Ability to propose solutions aligned with the Office's strategies. Quick learner, capable of swiftly adapting to analysis tasks in new domains. Responsible, self-organized, able to work proactively under tight deadlines within a team. Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills: proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of participating in multilingual meetings and effectively communicating with all levels of stakeholders. Strong facilitation skills, able to lead and influence discussions. Team-oriented, willing to share knowledge while also able to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of functioning in an international/multicultural environment. Skilled in moderating discussions and negotiating effectively to resolve differences. Customer-focused. Proficient in the use of modeling tools, requirements management tools, and other productivity tools. Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to work efficiently while maintaining the quality of analysis services under pressure. Knowledge of requirements gathering standards and methodologies, such as BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) or IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) methodologies (or equivalent). University degree (minimum 4 years' post-secondary education or duly recognized as equivalent to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Bologna Process) in the IT field. Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1).
