Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Veolia. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the engineering team in designing and developing chemical control and dosing systems.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for onsite activities related to chemical feed and water treatment systems.
- Direct and participate in job site visits to collect and deliver design and engineering data.
- Meet with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders to discuss existing or potential engineering projects.
- Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing project specifications and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
- Propose new instrumentation solutions and/or improvements for existing ones.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, ensuring client satisfaction and requirements are addressed or met.
- Continuously improve our current documentation.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or similar field.
- Working experience in the field or in water treatment systems will be valued.
- Knowledge of process basis elements relevant to water treatment plants will be valued.
- Capability to carry out documentation for project execution.
- Demonstrate experience in project management and/or water treatment project management will be valued.
- Professional English competency is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Valid driver's license for Spain.
