Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Support Engineer to join our team at Https:/Www.Energyjobline.Com/Sitemap. As a Project Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, from procurement to commissioning and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translating client requirements into practical terms for implementation.
  • Purchasing and managing direct contact with providers on request for quotation processes.
  • Issuing purchase order requests according to internal standards, rules, and templates.
  • Monitoring daily purchase orders status and estimated time of arrival for purchased equipment.
  • Assembling and testing cabinets and racks.
  • Configuring system components, including sensors, communications devices, dataloggers, servers, and workstations.
  • Generating configuration management documents.
  • Controlling traceability and factory mock-up installation.
  • Supporting project engineers during system testing.
  • Creating labeling plans for systems.
  • Packing and unpacking hardware.
  • Supporting the logistic department on packing list generation and shipment control.
  • Performing on-site mechanical installations and integrations.
  • Checking electrical and communication connections.
  • Troubleshooting during commissioning phases.
  • Supporting the transition of systems to operational status.
  • Testing systems on-site.
  • Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on integrated meteorology systems.
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines at each stage.
  • Maintaining a clean health and safety record and resolving any problems.
  • Prioritizing and organizing project tasks within required timelines.
  • Listening and responding to team and client requests.
  • Providing insights and support to proposal teams as needed.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with DTN's project management regulations.
  • Familiarizing with project lifecycles.
  • Collaborating with the team.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Grade in engineering.
  • Electronics knowledge, including understanding of circuits, diagrams, and basic repairs.
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) knowledge.
  • Knowledge of electricity, low voltage, regulations, and protective elements.
  • Networks and communications knowledge, including communication protocols, basic network configuration, local networks, VPNs, remote desktops.
  • Understanding of industrial communication networks and protocols.
