Senior Payroll Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Associate to join our team at Alight. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing payroll end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients.
- Support statutory and year-end reporting, adhering to agreed calendars and KPIs.
- Advise clients on payroll-related queries and ensure a strong understanding of country-specific legislation.
- Support knowledge transfer and training of apprentices and associates on data management and customer service activities.
- Ensure tickets and calls are responded to within SLA timescales and to a high standard.
- Support system maintenance testing and liaise with third parties.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and ensure audience understanding and application.
- Maintain DWIs to ensure processes are up-to-date and reflective of the service.
- Report system issues and defects correctly, logging tickets with necessary details and evidence.
- Highlight deviations from standard scope of service to the Service Manager.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills.
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently, while adhering to processes and procedures.
BA/BS in a business-related field, such as Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate environment.
Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred.
Experience working with HR and payroll data desirable.
