Job Title: Manager Backoffice

Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Manager Backoffice to join our team in Mayen, Germany.

Job Summary:

The Manager Backoffice will provide administrative support to ensure the flawless operation of the Global Excellence Center. This includes coordinating the Backoffice team, managing budgets, and organizing business trips and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative and coordination support for the Global Excellence Center
  • Supporting the GEC team in fulfilling their tasks and goals
  • Organization and management of business trips, including visa processes
  • Organization, support, and follow-up of national and international conferences, meetings, and events
  • Budget management for travel and meetings
  • Creation of presentations and reports
  • Cooperation with the Innovation and technical teams to support different projects
  • Cooperation with the Digital Factory and the Healthcare team to assist the Product Development Digital Solutions team
  • Research for and establishment of contact with potential business partners
  • Assistance in the organization of machine trials; help out during trials and post-process produced samples (lab requests, storage, logistics)
  • Organization, service, and post-processing of national and international conferences and events
  • Creation of translations in English and other languages
  • Support in the administration of the samples archive and the Technical Center
  • Support fleet management and ensure pool cars are in correct condition
  • Support local HSE, Facility Management, and accounting departments
Requirements:
  • Several years of professional experience in international assistance at executive level
  • Several years of professional experience with the organization of major international events
  • Professional experience in direct and indirect employee management and as an HR interface is desired
  • Experiences with SP-Expert SmartClient is an asset
  • MS Office Package
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, organizational talent, personal responsibility, reliability
  • Strong service orientation
  • SAP knowledge, other lab system or panel test is an asset
  • Ability to work independently, but also be an open-minded team player
  • Creative mind
  • Very good knowledge of both German and English is a must (spoken and written). Other language is an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally: 5-15 days/year
