**About the Role**

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Ring Device Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems that power our Ring devices.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement distributed systems and microservices to support our Ring devices.
  • Develop robust and maintainable code with clear and concise documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value through iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate technical status and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with team goals.
  • Implement test automation to ensure high-quality code through unit testing and integration testing.

**Requirements**

  • Professional experience in software development, with a strong background in object-oriented design.
  • Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
