Software Development Engineer, Ring Device Services

Ring is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our backend team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software systems that power our doorbells, cameras, and other devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement distributed systems and microservices to ensure high uptime and low latency.
- Develop robust and maintainable code with clear documentation and adhere to coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value through iterative development and long-term system design.
- Communicate status and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Implement test automation using unit testing and integration testing.
- Professional software development experience with a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience contributing to system architecture and design, including reliability and scaling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
