About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Empresa Reconocida. As a key member of our Global Data Governance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining alignment to our Enterprise Data Governance's (EDG) processes, rules, and standards.

Your primary responsibility will be to promote data accuracy and adherence to our defined global governance practices, driving acceptance of our enterprise data standards and policies across various business segments.

You will work closely with stakeholders to maintain and advise on data governance-related matters in Consumer data, focusing on business use of the data. Additionally, you will provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote data accuracy and adherence to global governance practices
  • Drive acceptance of enterprise data standards and policies
  • Maintain and advise on data governance-related matters in Consumer data
  • Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policy
  • Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in Data Governance or Stewardship role
  • Experience with Consumer data a plus
  • Understanding of key data management concepts, including data ingestion, data quality, and stewardship
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the Consumer data domain
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to think beyond current state and work towards an optimized design
