About the Role

As a Data Governance Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in driving the energy transformation by ensuring the effective management of data across the organization. You will be part of our growing Data & Artificial Intelligence team within the Digital Core function, where we work together to support the wider needs and demands from the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver data maturity models, and monitor their embedding and monitoring against targets.
  • Plan and execute workshops, walkthroughs, and reviews with key stakeholders to endorse data governance artifacts and implement policies.
  • Communicate and present data governance concepts clearly to support upskilling and training activities.
  • Define data governance KPIs, support measuring, and drive their adoption and regular reporting.
  • Coordinate data governance audits, execute, and report on them.
  • Support the planning and execution of data governance boards and forums when needed.
  • Collaborate with Digital Core business partners to build a stronger operating model that brings data governance roles, the data governance function, and technology teams together.
