Position Overview:

The O2C Procurement Order Specialist will be stationed in our Barcelona Shared Services Centre. This role is integral to the Order to Cash (O2C) team within the Global Transactional Finance function. The primary objective is to assist the O2C department with essential tasks such as Purchase Order Management, dispute resolution, and general administrative support. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to thrive in diverse and cross-functional global settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Collection: Gather purchase orders from multiple sources, including clients, sales teams, and digital platforms.
  • Data Entry: Ensure accurate input of purchase order details into the company's order management system.
  • Order Verification: Confirm the completeness and correctness of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Order Tracking: Maintain an organized system for monitoring the status of purchase orders, including confirmations, shipping, and delivery updates.
  • Communication: Work collaboratively with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in purchase order processing or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in order management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes is advantageous.
