Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Td Synnex Europe Services And Operations U. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening trading relationships with vendors and product marketing teams to obtain competitive advantage for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Place orders based on profiles produced by the IPP Analyst team, taking into account logistics efficiency requirements.
- Back-to-Back Ordering: Order products with no established run rate and place direct ship purchase orders with vendors.
- Order Confirmation: Check order confirmations for correct product, quantity, pricing, and delivery dates, and update the system accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that all purchase orders raised are within authorized and agreed sign-off limits, and check vendor order confirmations for correct product, quantity, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Expedited Orders: Expedite all open orders to maximize customer satisfaction and take responsibility for the highest degree of due date accuracy in the system.
- Vendor Price Changes: Assist the IPP Analyst team with vendor price changes by ensuring correct cost prices are reflected within the system.
- Stock Rotation: Request authorization references from vendors for contractual or negotiated terms, raise Return to Vendor quotation orders, and record on a central database.
- Logistics and Finance Queries: Support the IPP Analyst team in resolving Logistics (primarily Goods In) and Finance queries within prescribed timescales.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Own and manage through until completion, any ad hoc projects as defined by IPP Management.
- Customer Service: Provide a high level of service, support, and accuracy to the IPP team, and consistently achieve set targets.
- Professional Representation: Represent Td Synnex at all times in an efficient and professional manner.
