About the Role:

As an EPC Sales Executive at Hitachi Energy Spain, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic alignment with key EPCs across Europe and managing their international business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement account strategies focused on growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement account strategies for the Grid Automation business with nominated accounts to position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice and drive profitable growth.
  • Drive alignment with business goals and feed into the overall account strategy for Hitachi Energy.
  • Create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales proposition across business units.
  • Maintain detailed records of opportunities for nominated accounts and visibility of business levels in the current and future years.
  • Set and deliver sales targets for accounts and support coordination with local sales teams to secure local business.
  • Take responsibility for securing export orders where nominated accounts are working on international opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of customer business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, and business drivers.
  • Coordinate sales tendering activities and manage interfaces with operations teams.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years' experience selling automation solutions to EPC contractors.
  • Experience of managing international sales opportunities for engineered solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of markets for automation solutions for electrical networks and grid edge solutions.
  • Experience in coordinating international bid teams to develop innovative tenders.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
  • Availability for international travel to visit customers (max. 30%).
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
